Determining the exact number of songs you have on Apple Music can be more challenging than anticipated. Unfortunately, Apple Music does not provide a straightforward “song count” feature on iOS, Android, or PC. However, there are a few alternative methods and workarounds that you can explore to gather this information.

Part 1. How to check how many songs you have on Apple Music on Mac?

1. Open Music app. Click Songs on the left side.

2. Click View – Show Status Bar on the menu bar.

How to download all songs in your Apple Music Library?

To download all songs in your Library, you can turn on Automatic Downloads in Apple Music settings. However, it only downloads the songs you added to Library after turning on the feature. Songs added to Library before turning on this feature won’t be downloaded automatically.

To download all songs in your Apple Music Library added before turning on Automatic Downloads, you can select all songs and add them to a playlist to download.

Just head to the Songs tab in your Library section. Once you’re there, select all of your songs(click the first song, scroll down to the bottom, hold shift button and click the last song) and add them to a new playlist.

Then click the download icon to download all songs. The playlist will sync to all devices signed in with your Apple ID, so you can download the Library songs on Mac/PC/iOS and Android.

How to see how many songs are in an Apple Music playlist?

When you browse Apple Music catalog, to see how many songs are in a playlist, scroll down to the bottom of the playlist and you will see the quantity displayed there.
